The Good Garage Scheme

On 23/11/2006 we became registered members of the GoodGarageScheme.co.uk. The Good Garage Scheme has been set up to inform and advise consumers where to go and what to look for when arranging a car service, repair or MOT work. Scheme members are local independents, friendly garages you can trust. You can be assured that as members, we will perform services to a strict standard and will always have your best interests at heart. The scheme is based around a code of conduct that sets quality standards and procedures for the benefit of  the customer. Customers are encouraged to leave feedback about the service they receive with a running score for each member garage appearing on the GGS website. The scheme is run by Forté who are dedicated to driving up standards in the car service and repair market, ensuring consumers get a fair deal.

1. Standard of repairs = 97.0%                                               

2. Helpfulness and attitude of staff = 97.0%

3. Quality of vehicle updates during repair = 96.3%  

4. General satisfaction overall = 95.6%  

We are now working to increase our score on the quality of our updates during repair where we know we do need to make that extra time available during the day and make better contact ie,we contact you before you contact us for progress reports etc. Your feedback to the scheme does make a difference as it helps us to improve our service in all areas which gives you better quality and it helps us improve our systems.
